Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and peroxides in solutions. QUANTOFIX® Peroxide is also suited for the determination of other inorganic and organic hydroperoxides. For the determination of hydroperoxides in organic solvents the test field is moistened with a drop of water after evaporation of the solvent. Between pH 2 and 9 the reaction is independent of the pH value of the test solution. Strongly acidic solutions should be buffered with sodium acetate, alkaline solutions are adjusted to pH 5 – 7 using citric acid. Strong oxidizing agents interfere.
